2024 edition: Imminent opening of the registration period for exhibitors

April 12, 2024 – All exhibitors will soon be able to begin confirming their participation in the 2024 edition of The National Job Fair with the official opening of the Exhibitor Registration Period, which will be announced shortly.  Any organization interested in participating is invited to complete the BECOME AN EXHIBITOR information sheet on the website at any time to receive the registration kit by email with the necessary information and access to the Registration Form.

The National Job Fair hands over the reins to Groupe Contex

April 4, 2024 – The INEO team, which has organized The National Job Fair since its first edition in 2006, hands over the reins to that of Group Contex, which will now ensure its management and organization. INEO thus becomes the newest business unit of Group Contex, a Canadian leader in the organization of trade fairs, conferences and training programs as well as a publisher of high-profile publications and websites, whose head office is located in Montreal.

Now at the Palais des congrès de Montréal!

March 25, 2024 –The National Job Fair will be presented for the first time at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, on October 2-3, 2024. This change of location follows the closure of the Olympic Stadium for major renovation work announced by the government last February.

Record of exhibitors and it keeps growing!

August 28, 2018 – A participation record of exhibitors has already been confirmed last July at the 2018 edition of The National Job Fair. This year, more than 275 exhibitors (former record of 186 exhibitors in 2017) will attend. This record means a lot more job offers to the visitors/jobs seekers of the Fair. The more exhibitors, the more job offers. The more job offers, the more opportunities for candidates. Everyone looking for a job, a career change, professional or continuing education programs or professional career development services has all good reasons to plan a visit to attend The National Job Fair on October 11 and 12 at Place Bonaventure (East Exhibition Hall). The 2018 edition is an absolute must!

Dates of the 13th edition in 2018

December 12, 2017 – The 13th edition of The National Job Fair will take place Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12, 2018, in the East Hall of Place Bonaventure, jointly with the 23rd edition of The National Education Fair and the 9th edition of The Study & Stay Abroad Fair which will be presented in the adjacent West Hall. Organizations interested in participating in The National Job Fair and/or in one or another of our recruitment events can contact us now to reserve their space in priority before the official opening of the exhibitors’ registration period in January 2018.

Special insert on The National Job Fair available in today's edition of Le Journal de Montréal

October 12, 2016 – Get your copy of Le Journal de Montréal today! You will find a special 24-page special insert on The National Job Fair, The National Education Fair and The Study & Stay Abroad Fair, which will open tomorrow at Place Bonaventure in the presence of moer than 275 exhibitors and partners. In the special insert, you will find the ist of exhibitors, the floor plan and featured news on the 2016 edition of the Fair. The special insert will also be distributed to visitors at the Fair upon their arrival both days.

More than 5,000 job offers, training programs and career services will be available on site at The National Job Fair! Nearly 130 exhibitors, a record, will offer jobs in virtually all sector and will be represented by a total of about 500 recruiters.

New participation record of exhibitors comfirmed for the 2016 edition

August 18, 2016 - Nearly two months before the opening of The National Job Fair, the record book of the biggest job fair of the year in Greater Montreal was rewritten with the confirmation of a new participation record of exhibitors for the 2016 edition. Today, the confirmation of 3 new exhibitors brought the Fair to new heights, equaling the record of 96 exhibitors set in 2015, and setting a new record-breaking Fair with 98 exhibitors. The increase will in fact continue over the next 8 weeks. Consequently, the volume of participation of exhibitors expected have been revised to 125 exhibitors, a major 30% increase over the last year record. This is the 7th consecutive year that organizers present a record-breaking National Job Fair in Montreal, but this is the first time a participation record is confirmed as long before the Fair.

Another record-breaking edition!

November 19, 2015 – To mark its 10th anniversary, The National Job Fair presented a 6th record edition in a row with the largest number of exhibitors to date, that is to say 96 companies and organisms, while welcoming a large volume of 11,500 visitors. The Fair is in constant progression since 2009 and positions itself as the most important employment Fair of the Greater Montreal. The many recruiters on site to provide jobs, trainings and employment services came from almost all regions of Quebec, Ontario and the Northwest territories. Also, for a 5th consecutive year, the Réseau des organismes de régionalisation de l’immigration du Québec (RORIQ) of the TCRI  was present as a partner of the Fair with nearly 20 organisms on site to promote employment and life in the regions with immigrants by providing them jobs, services and resources to integrate into regional communities. We also want to underline the third participation of a group of exhibitors from the Ontario francophone and the first delegation of employers from the biopharmaceutical sector, in partnership with Pharmabio Développement. These results confirm the reputation and the leading position of The National Job Fair in the employment and continuing training fields not only in the Greater Montreal, but also across Quebec as well Canada.

A successful 9th edition. Thank you to everyone!

October 20, 2014 – The 9th edition of the National Job Fair was held on October 16 and 17, 2014, in the East Hall of Place Bonaventure, in Montreal. Recruiters, trainers and visitors were numerous at this annual event, a must for job search, career development and continuing education. Thank you all for making the Fair the most important multisector recruitment event in Greater Montreal!

A new record at sight!

August 19, 2013 – To date, more than 70 organizations took the plunge and confirmed their participation in the Fair, with an expected record participation of 90 and 100 exhibitors at the Fair in 2013, and a new record in sight! In 2012, 80 exhibitors participated in the Fair, which was a record compared to the previous year.

Among the organizations confirmed the Fair to date: TD Canada Trust, Ministère des transports du Québec, Atelka, Quantum, Sun Life Financial, Canadian Security Intelligence Service, FI Canada Oilfield Services, Commission scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys – Éducation des adultes, Formation professionnelle et Service aux entreprises, Faculté d'éducation permanente – Université de Montréal, IFSE Institute, Accès Travail Victoriaville, Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Montréal Centre-Ville, Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and Portes ouvertures sur le Lac.
