Changes and new features in 2024 to support

the development of The National Job Fair

 

New location, new exhibition hall, new administration, same dynamism!

Be at the next edition of The National Job Fair, which will be presented for the first time at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, on October 2-3, 2024. This change of location follows the closure of the Olympic Stadium for major renovation work announced by the government last February.

 

The INEO team, which has organized The National Job Fair since its first edition in 2006, is also handing over the reins to that of Group Contex, which will now ensure its management and organization. INEO thus becomes the newest business unit of Group Contex, a Canadian leader in the organization of trade fairs, conferences and training programs as well as a publisher of high-profile publications and websites, whose head office is located in Montreal.

 

Exceptionally this year, The National Job Fair will be presented separately from The National Education Fair and The Study & Stay Abroad Fair, which will take place on October 17 and 18, also at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. The separate presentation of the fairs is circumstantial due to the limited availability of exhibition facilities in Montreal, particularly this year following the closure of the Olympic Stadium.

 

ANOTHER BIG FIRST

 

Another big first, The National Job Fair and the Salon de l’emploi et de la formation continue, which have both taken place in the fall for nearly twenty years in Montreal, are now teaming up and will be presented together, under one roof, starting this fall! This synergy will bring together their distinctive strengths to offer all exhibitors a full range of event recruitment services in a dynamic never seen before in Greater Montreal and unrivaled in Canada. The two fairs, which now come under Group Contex, thus become the face of one of the largest and most important recruitment events in Canada.

 

The National Job Fair, the Salon de l’emploi et de la formation continue, The National Education Fair and The Study & Stay Abroad Fair are now events proudly presented by Group Contex.

 

2024 EDITION: IMMINENT OPENING OF THE EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION PERIOD

 

All exhibitors will soon be able to begin confirming their participation in the 2024 edition with the official opening of the Exhibitor Registration Period, which will be announced shortly. Any organization interested in participating is invited to complete the BECOME AN EXHIBITOR information sheet on the website at any time to receive the registration kit by email with the necessary information and access to the Registration Form.

Global vision at Canada’s largest recruitment event

The National Job Fair (employment, training and career services offers for adults) is one of the three components of our Global Recruitment Event. The other two components are The National Education Fair (career choice and education/training offers for Youth and Adults) and The Study & Stay Abroad Fair (international mobility for Youth and Adults), which will be held on October 17-18, 2024. The Event consists of a trio of stand-alone fairs with complementary themes which form a coherent and indivisible whole. The fairs will be presented in two steps are presented in the same exhibition location. Together, the three fairs form Canada's largest and most comprehensive recruitment and career promotion event for 18 years.The 2023 edition registered a combined participation of more than 430 exhibitors and partners and 36,000 visitors, including a record-breaking attendance of 17,400 visitors at The National Job Fair. The Event allows visitors to apply for jobs, shape their career path and make academic choices. It is an event to plan your future or to get ready to change it.

A special welcome to New Canadians and Newcomers

In addition to presenting a large number of companies looking for candidates to fill positions in Greater Montreal, The National Job Fair has also been recognized for more than 15 years for its efforts to promote the regions and to attract labour in the regions. Regional exhibitors will shine by highlighting the benefits of living and working in their region and by promoting their jobs to job seekers in Greater Montreal. In 2023, more than 125 employers and support organizations from all the administrative regions of Quebec are expected to attend the Great Seduction for Regional Employment©, a component of the Fair made concrete by our exclusive regional programs, namely our Regional Delegation Program© Living and Working in the Region©, presented in partnership with several Québec regions, and our Regionalization of Immigration Program© for New Canadians and Newcomers, presented in partnership with the Regroupement des organismes de régionalisation de l'immigration du Québec (RORIQ), an initiative of the Table de concertation des personnes réfugiées et immigrantes du Québec (TCRI). Exhibitors from across Québec will introduce you to the many job opportunities and the many attractions of life in the regions.
